March Coronavirus Update

Hello Friends,

We are in unprecedented territory right now in America. Schools closing, sports leagues canceled, a national emergency declared and a virus that threatens our most vulnerable population. I am not a doctor nor a professional in epidemiology. What I do is tell you what I would do If I were in your shoes for health insurance. If you have a doctor follow their advice. Most of you have some sort of access to telemedicine through your insurance. If possible use that the first line of defense to mitigate getting infected at the doctor's office, ER or another professional setting.

Medicare

The Administration just relaxed rules for telemedicine and Medicare today. This is a rapidly developing situation and we are doing everything we can to keep you abreast of the situation. As soon as we have more info we will send a new update.

Under 65

If you have Compliant coverage your carrier offers telemedicine. Go through your member portal to understand how it works and if you need to download anything. Do this ahead of time so you r are not scrambling to use it last minute.

We expect the federal government to announce a special enrollment period to assist with the national crisis.  We are ready to assist any and everyone who needs it.  If you know anyone that needs assistance feel free to forward this email.
