Hello Friends,
There is an old Chinese curse “May you live in interesting times!", and it has been an interesting couple of months with pandemics, quarantines, social unrest, and top it all off it is a presidential election year. Needless to say, 2020 will go down as an unforgettable year and one for the history books. I couldn’t even begin to predict where we are headed but hopefully, things will be uninteresting in 2021. As always thank you for allowing us to be “ Your Insurance Advocates”.
Key Dates
October 1st: Medicare Pre annual election period. Talk about plans, do analysis, but can not take applications by law.
October 15th: Medicare Annual Election Period. Change prescription plans and Medicare advantage plans
November 1st: ACA aka Obamacare annual enrollment starts.
December 7th: Deadline to make changes to your Medicare plans.
December 15th: Deadline to make changes to your Obamacare plan.
Medicare
We are a month away from the Annual election Period (AEP) This is the time you can change your prescription drug plan, Medicare Advantage plan, or drop an Advantage plan and return to original Medicare. In preparing for our "busy" season we are planning and streamlining our processes, adding more staff, and upgrading tools to be able to help as many people as possible in a reliable and efficient manner.

Under 65 health insurance
There are a lot of unknowns in regards to Obamacare and who wins the presidency and what party controls Congress next year. We don't worry about what is going to happen, we just execute on the knowns. Once things change we will adapt, as we have been for 13 years.
2021 ACA plans will not be released until November 1st. We are preparing for the season with meetings, analyzing the market, and preparing a strategy for you all next year. We will not be able to talk about plans until November, so all you can do now is hurry up and wait for November.
On a personal note-
Like everyone in the world COVID19 and the response upended our lives. Isolation, school and sports canceled, stock market swings, and the endless fear peddling by the media. The whole family was stir crazy. We were fortunate enough to have plenty of supplies and able to spend time outside. Mother nature definitely made things more tolerable. I could not imagine being in lockdown in NYC or some big city without the option of getting some fresh air. The positive side of the lockdowns was more time with my family, appreciation of the little things that often time get overlooked during modern life. You all are the reason we were able to live our lifestyle during these trying times. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued business, support, and referrals. We wouldn’t be here without you.
